The house nestled in the heart of the serene Mazuria is influenced by local wood, linen fabrics, natural stone, and clay. The interiors are spacious and comfortable, with local influences throughout, like a coffee table made from old reclaimed doors and vintage local tools.

Dora valued local craftsmanship and traditions, selecting many interior items from village markets and antique shops. The house features curated accessories and ceramics, including large, handmade clay sculptures by Dora. Photographs by Polish photographer Bownik add a contemporary artistic touch that harmonizes with the home’s traditional character.

The color palette—natural and light—was chosen to soothe the eyes and the spirit, creating a harmonious sanctuary where modern living meets timeless beauty.
